Intimacy, Sexuality and Self Love
This afternoon session will be spent looking deeply together into our ideas about intimate relationships and how we actually feel when relating with others.
It has been my experience that due to unconscious patterns that we all develop at a very early age from our family conditioning, we are not fully aware of how these patterns come into play in our adult relating, and how they continue to affect us. Many of us suffer from lack of self esteem and seek to heal this through relating to one another, but is this even possible?
Also, we want so much to be loved and belong that we often jump over our own needs and boundaries just to please someone else, in the hope that they will love us.
Becoming conscious of the ways in which we compromise and betray our own knowing is the first step in healing our wounds from childhood so that real intimacy (in-to-me-see) can occur.
In a safe environment, we will gently explore this often “hot topic” and see if we can make some distinctions between how society is pressuring us to relate, and what feels safe and comfortable for our own hearts. Now more than ever, I have found that loving ourselves and honoring our own inner God/Goddess is what will create beautiful and healthy relationships in the mirror of our lives. I hope you will join me in this exploration together!
This workshop will take place on Tuesday 4th July 2017 at Bhole Baba Ashram (Rieferath, Germany)
